Steps to Take If You Need Medication Urgently
There may be times when you urgently need prescription medication but don’t have a prescription on hand. In these situations, the pharmacy can often provide what’s known as an “Emergency Supply.”
Emergency Supplies can be requested either by your doctor, typically for new medications, or by you as the patient. However, please note that as an internet-based pharmacy, we are unable to see you in person. Your medication will need to be posted or delivered, which we will arrange as quickly as possible. However, this process may not be as immediate as visiting a traditional high street pharmacy where in-person consultations are possible.
It’s important to understand that some Emergency Supplies may incur charges, even if you normally receive your prescriptions for free. Additionally, certain medications cannot be provided through Emergency Supply. There are specific procedures we must follow to comply with regulations.
To ensure you receive the appropriate care, we strongly recommend that you contact the pharmacy by telephone. A member of our staff will guide you through the necessary steps, and our pharmacist will recommend the correct procedure based on your situation.
