Menopause
Menopause is a natural part of the ageing process and marks the end of menstrual cycles, usually occurring in women between the ages of 45 and 55. It is characterised by symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats, irregular menstruation, vaginal dryness, and mood changes. Early Menopause is when the period stops before the age of 45. All women will go through menopause and almost all of them will experience menopausal symptoms. These can be quite severe and have a significant impact on everyday activities. Management includes hormone replacement therapy (HRT), lifestyle changes, and non-hormonal treatments to alleviate symptoms.
